OK. So I have a mobile phone that seems to understand what I want...apart from one niggle I can't fix. Any advice would be more than I can get elsewhere, including the maker and no reply from the provider yet.
It's a SonyEricsson w300i and I'm pretty happy with it apart from the voice mail. It cuts in after just 2 rings and I can't change it. Sony say it's a provider problem and I can't any reference to it in the phones' settings.
Are Sony just passing me on and has anyone else solved this niggle? Very frustration when UK family call me only to be diverted almost right away which means I have to call back every time.
I had a similar problem with my old phone, which was on the Virgin network. I rand their customer services dept. who gave me a long code string to enter which altered the ring interval to about 15 rings (I can never find my phone quickly in my bag!) which solved the problem. I would try your network provider!
Remember the old days when you could adjust the time it rang for, and they didn't crash? True, they didn't have cameras or internets, but they worked.
Try this link - it didn't work for me but apparently has for some.

I have a couple of good phones. One has its own built in camera, the other is a bit old fashioned but it has a camera and a built in vibrator alert.

P.S. I hope your phone vibrates for more than 2 rings ;) ;) ;)
