Title: Lottie Duty Days
Post by: Lauren S on September 02, 2007, 21:22:04
Usually at the end of a season I go through all my clothes and make piles.
Tossing stuff all over the place.
1. Too tight or to loose  :o
2. Bored with this or that.
3. Faded
4. Hubbie's T Shirts  ;)
Etc Etc Etc
Well since veg gardening I have noticed that I'm now *Saving* some of my (once donated) clothes for **Lottie Duty Days**.
Anybody else changed their dressing habits?
Even my neighbour now knows when I'm off to the lottie  ;D
I think the wellie shoes are a dead give away too  ;D
Anyone else saving their clothes for *Lottie Duty Days*..?
Lauren  ::)

Lauren you've hit a chord with me  ;)  I have certain clothes saved for when we go to the lottie but... I must admit to even having a lottie handbag  :-\  ;D  ;D

I save old clothes for lottie as always come back with mud on everything. I also get donated clothes for this - my brother has been about to throw out fleeces and sends them via my mum to see if I am interested which I always am as allows me to wear 5-6 layers underneath although feel like michelin man. My parents sent round ski clothes - mainly tops and I have kept these ( they look too good really to use down the lottie). The problem is what to wear on bottom half - I have been using old pairs of jeans but are finding they end up with holes in the knees or becoming so dirty that it will not wash out.
