Title: It's a question of manure........
Post by: pjb on September 01, 2007, 19:18:13
I have access to well rotted sheep manure/straw for free, how good would this be on my plot? it would be going where I want to plant onion sets next month and it's on soil that hasn't been cultivated for a couple of years if that makes a differance. Any other advice most welcome  ;)

With fallow soil and some good muck you'll need a wheel barrow to take those onions home... one at a time!
;D

Thanks!  and there's no need for the wheelbarrow, I have two children and a whip  ;)
