This man really hates his wife, and wants to do her in. Lacking the balls to do it himself he goes to the pub to ask his mates if they know anyone that will do it for him. He sees this shifty looking guy in the corner so he goes up to him and asks him if he will kill his wife. The guy replies no but says he knows someone who will. The shifty guy then takes him to his mates house. he bangs on the door and says " Arty are you in there? ". The door is opened and they walk in. " This guy has got a job for you " , says Shifty. " I want you to kill my wife, how much will it cost me " , asks the guy " One pound " , answers Arty. " Eh, how come? " , asks the guy. " I like my work " ,Says Arty The guy than explains that his wife will be in Asda the following day wearing a yellow mac and green wellingtons.
Arty is in Asda the next day and he sees a woman walking in wearing the clothes specified by his client so he follows her to the frozen food department, strangles her and dumps her in the freezer. Pleased with his achievement he is about to leave when another woman wearing the same clothes walks in. " For f***s sake" , he thinks so he follows her and does the same thing to her & dumps her in the same freezer. He starts leaving when he is stopped by store detectives who see the episode on security cameras. The local newspaper the next day has the title: Arty chokes two for a pound at Asda. ;D
excelllent.
;D ;D ;D ;D
Went to the French market in Shoreham today saw Artichokes two for £5.00 but these markets are very expensive, love the french bread @£1.00 a stick.
They cost round about £1.20 each for a two week old fist sized. Still nice though.
bluebedouin ~ that was brill!
But what about Jerusalem artichokes i will be harvesting them in about a month do we need to shop in Waitrose, Sainsbury's or Tesco's to see Arty's cousin!!!!????***
Do let us know...
I don't know about artichokes but a 6" long courgette was £0.78 each in Merthyr Asdas last Thursday
