Title: Sorry - another stupid question...
Post by: piglit on June 21, 2004, 15:05:09
I am having a day of it... are cherries soft fruit?? I have some ripening and was going to cover them with Scaraweb to stop the birds from getting all of them... but it says not to use on soft fruit.  I know that currants and berries are soft but are cherries? Or are them medium soft? HELP!
I promise I will try to stop asking these daft things...

Just to confuse you PIglit -I think they're top fruit :)

I think scaraweb will be ok -it's for use on trees.

Soft fruit is more strawberries, raspberries, currants &c.

never mind the teccy stuff-get them covered yesterday, birds today have clearly been influenced by supermarkets-they will eat unripe fruit quite happily :).
