As if I counted the apples :)-less than a third of one tree to give about 6 litres of apple juice

Can I ask a silly question....do apples have to be fully ripe before they are juiced? ~I ask because my beloved D'Arcy Spice apple tree has uprooted itself and died, and we now have bagful after bagful of unripe apples....... :-\

I'm sorry to hear that Deb... you can put a bag in my apple store if you want!

Sorry to be so late replying Deb. We have been away. The answer is `taste and try`-and even if it is a bit tart you can still freeze the juice to add to something later on
