Title: Grubbing up raspberries
Post by: Barnowl on August 22, 2007, 11:43:46
Is it ok to grub up raspberries and make a new planting (of a different variety) in the same place?

Thinking of trying a new variety - no health issues.

Not good practice really, but if you havent grown raspberries there for too long, and if you dig in plenty of muck you should get away with it.

Poor crop and not particularly tasty - but may give them one more year stay of execution!
