Post by: shirlton on August 21, 2007, 17:24:16
There was I looking everyday for the fruits in case they grew too big to be palatable. I was wasting me time cos although there are loads of flowers there are no fruits as yet.Our Bunjy has none on heres either.

If you have male and female flowers you could try hand pollinating ???

Either pull off the male flower and rub it into the female flower ... or use a paintbrush ????  :-\

My patty pan from Seeds of Italy have only just starting to produce fruit. I felt like the only one on the allotment not getting a courgette as I only grew these this year. I have only one plant that is a nice size and producing the others are smaller and looking sad really.

I had two which are now eaten :P. There is one more tiny one, but that seems to be it. Butternuts aren't very fruitful either, only got two from three plants. I had 6 last year. from 1 plant.
