Title: a couple of cracking roses for Jeannine
Post by: grawrc on August 19, 2007, 14:59:15
Meant to post these pictures ages ago. "Breath of Life" is the close up peachy one - the flower has a diameter of about 4 inches. The other one is "the garland" which is light and delicate with a fabulous scent. Both are unfortunately past their best and battered by the rain.

That is lovely Anne, and what a pretty name for the first picture..Breath of Life. I will look into this one Thank you, they are beautiful.

I want to grow something on my back fence that will grow high and rampant, my garden backs onto a a dead end road that has a big grass area attached, all the teenagers use it to meet and?? They play football using my fence as the goal post so I want something that may prevent them jumping over to get the ball, one of my dogs was hurt a few months ago and we think by this. I have Virginia Creeper but figured a good rampant thorny high fence might just help.

Hopefully if they lose enough balls they just might go somewhere else!!!

Thank you again Anne  XX Jeannine
