They look great. When did you sow your carrots- I'm wondering whether to try digging one but haven't got many so don't want to waste any!

And doesn't it make you feel good when you go home with a harvest like that!!

So colourful - esp the Sweet Peas, my favourite.

Caroline - the foliage has to look really substantial. Run your finger around the crown to check the size. Cover up afterwards.

that looks great, saddad, we're going to try purple podded ones next year, much easier to find among all the foliage  ;D

A great harvest.

Still getting sweet peas? - mine have all gone to seed.  Suppose it helps to be there to pick them ::)

What a lovely harvest Saddad, I planted my first kohl rabi too and took a couple off to taste (tiny ones) and they were gorgeous but unfortunately the club root took over and they are awful now.

Because they were so tasty going to try again next year and try the tip I got this year for club root... plant a small piece of rhubarb stem in with the tiny plants!! Hope it works!

And I have found out the truth about sweet peas... you do definitely have to keep picking them, I have found that the more little bunches I take off the plants, the quicker new flowers grow... lovely

Nice one dad  ;)  Those carrots look gorgeous  8)

Your kohl rabi looks about the same size as ours, so will harvest it next time we're up the plot (we only planted the one  ;D )
