Trailrat, it's OK we will let you wear an apron!  ;D :o We could always bring tents and camp the night for those of us that can't afford a taxi home! (tho whose plot is empty so we can pitch them?) Then we can do bacon n eggs in the morning!
I can come as the matron....hmmm not too flattering with me wellies, or a nice nurse!
What we need is some nice young junior dr's!
Title: Re:UnChristmas Party.
Post by: TrailRat on June 20, 2004, 17:00:24
I'd let you play with my stethoscope doris  :o but my partner might object. Thanks for the apron suggestion tho, i think it would be a good idea as I don't like burnt offerings.  ;D :o

Ok !Received the go ahead from Dan Our Man,think he'd like the place cleaning up before the Evening session of" Chat "so told him no problem there. As long as it isn't me that has to do it.Now then Wicker as you admit not to being able to sing think that you could be in charge of music??About this Clapshot stuff never heard of it i'm afraid but if it's something to do with men in Kilts can you bring a dozen assorted??
TENTS:-there will be several(all donated by CON)Flower tent:- in which bloomers will be shown Flower would you take charge?Beer tent:-now who could anyone suggest for being in charge of this i wonder(i'm saying nothing here)but one or two spring to mind.Jethro has volunteered to man a Tent to show his intentions....sorry misspelt that one inventions in.If Ken Kew's around what about doing us a few Odes ?.EJ can be relied upon to show her Exotics i'm sure (not the Diamond studded Wellies again EJ please)i'm sure you can get Ava to buy you a cheaper pair ......made my woolworths ones look a bit shoddy at last Party they did.
The Fireworks Finale will be Budgiebreeder and Fingle having another go at each other regarding the posting of pictures...only in a mud ring this time side bets to be taken .Eric you 're good at keeping books aren't you??
COme back Hugh all is forgiven.................

Oooooooh, what would I give for web cams all round!!  Talk about fantasies coming true - well not really but got to make the best of what you've got to hand so to speak.

Sorry BB clapshot is to eat - tatties and neeps mashed together but maybe could get a nice muscular pipe band to bring it in with the leader carrying a bowl of steaming clapshot instead of tossing his mace??  would you like?

Never watch Carry On films but willing to learn... always willing to learn.....

Great idea for a party!Can I come?

I am amazed no-one has yet broached the subject of BOOZE!

However i have the the problem SOLVED!

I am in possession of one of the few remaining copies of the original "Harburn Alcoholic Punch "recipes.

I am not surprised at the gasps and faintings amongst you!

I am prepared, this once only,to reveal this sought after and mythical formula to the regulars of this forum!

We can all prepare our vats and bring them to the party to ensure its absolute success!

The recipe is printed out in the recipes4all forum,a sadly neglected board of infinite quality, the haunt of a select few food geniuses.

See you there, Toots ;D :P

This all reminds me of my sister. Shes a dancer on one of the holiday parks. In her first year all the staff decided to have a Christmas party in July as they wouldn't be together at Christmas. As I lived nearer than any of the other relatives she made me drive 2 hours to get to her with all my Xmas decs

I shall have to get a VIP pass from Ava as Saturday nights are a cyber no-go in this house.  However, tis a special occassion, and I do have a nice tan to show off after our hols, and I have traded in my diamond studded wellies for a pair of rubber sling backs.  Mind you, what to bring, have guzzled all the sloe gin and elderflower cordial.

Hi y'all!
Perhaps the Rockin' Berries could help with the tunes...well, for those of us with sufficiently long memories!

As this is clearly an 'A' (for allotment) list event, maybe some celebs will pop in and get in the groove - Russell Crow, Jasper Carrot and Mr Bean and to name a few!

Monday morning I wake up feeling decidedly off colour! (knew I ate too may slug appetisers) And I seem to have aquired a nice helmet, (could be handy to grow something in) and 12 foot of hose! (well, need a sprinkler system) Roll on the next party!! ;D
