Title: Beetroot leaves going brown and papery
Post by: Georgie on August 17, 2007, 20:49:06
The plants are still young and it isn't sun scorch.  Is it leaf miner?  The  same thing has happened to my Chenopodium giganteum (tree spinach).   :(  I've picked off all the affected leaves but I fear I've lost the tree spinach.   :'(

Sounds like wot i had last year georgie.  I just cut the affected leaves off, pretended i never saw them and got a  reasonable crop.

don't seem to have been so affected this year.
