Title: sweet potato advice, please
Post by: manicscousers on August 17, 2007, 19:06:54
the sweet potato plants are doing ok, the beauregard are like small bushes, the tm65, only 2 survive, are like a vine, climbing up the twine
do we have to do anything by way of watering or feeding, they're in the poly border, the soil was built up with well rotted muck before they were planted, it's our first time growing them properly  :)

Apparently they like a high potash fertiliser... I'm going to start that soon, as they should just be thinking about starting to form tubers... being day-length sensitive!

Indestructible... once they are doing the triffid impression, as long as we don't get a sudden -5C frost!
