Post by: Astrogirl72 on August 15, 2007, 14:49:00
I didn't even know that Fuschia bore fruit untit Chris Beardshaw mentioned it at this years Chelsea, however I just removed the flowers this year and let one of my Fuschia fruit, it now has what look like elogated Cherries and I was just wondering before I tuck in, is all Fuschia fruit edible?

Thanks,

I know for instance that you can make fuschia jam. according to this link, all fuschias have edible fruit, but some have a not entirely pleasant taste (scroll down to the Cultivar bit, where they do a bit of a taste test for different varieties
