Title: Greengages
Post by: Mrs Ava on August 14, 2007, 19:14:43
Have about 12Ib of them to use.  Ideas please.  I will make jam, it is other tried and tested yummies I am after.  Sauces maybe, especially if they keep or freeze.

Haven't any sauce recipes at all for greengage - suppose you could try recipes using other types of plum?
This is the one fruit that I just like as it is - most here get eaten fresh, they're dreamily peach-like, and get frozen just as a puree to use later on icecream or pancakes etc.
