Title: So who's the clever tomato grower, then??
Post by: tim on June 18, 2004, 16:47:54
One day I'll get it right!

I swear I've done eveything by the book this year, but we're back to square one. Not every plant, & mainly the beef. And not 'true' BER, but BERish enough for me! Or could it just be imperfect pollination?

Also - state of play - high viewpoint dwarfs the toms. Aubs & peppers on the right; cus & (early) courgettes at the end. = Tim

Every year we have high hopes - 'this will be a bumper harvest', only to have our visions shattered. Thank goodness for a mature outlook. It is so disappointing Tim, I hope you manage to salvage some of your crops.

Oh, Tim, so sorry this has happened. Derek is right we do start with such high hopes - ours are still at the flowering and very small tomato stage tho reaching the roof of the g'house (wee greenhouse of course).  I'm now crossing toes as well as fingers for us all.
