Title: aaarrgghhh! north tyneside in bloom
Post by: legless on June 17, 2004, 21:06:29
due to the site entering in the 'best allotments' category my lottie has to be perfect by july 12th!
- my shed needs fixing (cladding properly on the end so its brown or green, not white as it currently is)
- about a tonne of deconstructed greenhouse and collected artefacts by previous lottie holder need to be burnt or moved
- compost area needs rebuilding (the dividing bits are bits of the old ice rink roof that blew off in the gales a while ago and they are leaning over and need re-positioning)
- all weeds need controlling.

aaaarrrrggghhhhh!

the shed is actually a regulation as is the neat and tidy bit and they can take my lottie away if i don't sort it out.

oh bugger. who needs sleep anyway? gonna get one of those headlamp things so i can do it at night i think.

ooeer didn't know about that  :o !!

Have not been able to do anything for the past 2/3 days as I have either strained a muscle in my groin or have a trapped nerve. Either way its agony and frustrating :-\.

At least its been raining here in the North so I shouldn't have to worry too much about the watering.

Will have to dose myself with painkillers and go to lottie tomorrow morning.

Our Site has also entered, legless, but think that as we have probably no chance, there haven't been any instructions from anybody to pretty up the Site.

It is bad enough trying to cram in all you have to do at this time of year, without any extra work, I would think.  I seem to remember that your Site have won a prize in the past so that might be why the pressure. Good Luck, but don't work yourself to the bone, you can only do so much!  :D busy_lizzie

trailrat -we took the greenhouse down as it was falling down and very dangerous, it was a cobbled together rotten wooden creation which had no chance of being recreated so not much good or you!

hope you're feeling better debs, your plot is lovely anyway, i've had a verbal warning on the shed from ken  :D  by the way, i've heard more whingeing about the lads withthe plot next to mine, i don't reckon it'll be long before it's up for grabs...

i have convinced rick that they'll take it away from me so he is giving me 2 days of his time and we reckon we can sort it out!

yeah it has won for 2 years i think lizzie. i have formulated a plan which should make my plot look nice for minimum effort and cost so we should be ok!
