Title: It's a race against time.
Post by: tim on August 10, 2007, 08:50:15
Daily picking off the blighty Tomato leaves - Red Spider has just shown itself, so jetting it off - Slugs demolishing the Aubergines, despite bait in each bag - Earwigs starting on the Peppers...........

Grab it while the going's good!

I`m wondering about aubergines-the `Rosa di Bianca` has set and is getting there but the Thai Green? Peppers are OK and the first Boldog-for drying was picked today. Chillies?-the Cherry bombs seem to be a favourite of that rouge snail I found but Joe`s Long Cayenne is looking good

A good harvest Tim, I dont have blight yet, even on my outside toms.

They are growing well but none ripe yet :(

Other than the Sungold inside which are just the best.

My aubs didn't survive our hols, so off to the compost bin they go.  Picked a handful of cherries from the tumbling tom up by the greenhouse.  Masses of chillis, still all green.  Off to the allotment now to see whats what!
