Title: Asparagus Pea Ideas Please
Post by: prink13 on August 06, 2007, 15:43:22
Hi, have grown some asparagus peas for the 1st time this year - I've read a thread started by Cleo earlier this year - and it seems that they have to be picked very small, and nobody seems to like them much.

So, I've been out today and picked a handful, what do I do with them now?

Can I shell the larger ones to get to the peas? Or do I just cook the really small ones whole?

Kathi

With the small ones I have either steamed or boiled. I don't know about larger I would perhaps give puree or
pea and something soup a go. .Good luck.
