I have a Tokyo Kabocha, which has over a dozen female flowers at the moment. :o Is this normal for this type of squash? All the squashes I've grown before produced several female flowers and only one or two fruits could be harvested in the end.
Do you think I can expect a good harvest this year? Am I supposed to remove any female flowers at all?
No reply... :(
One fruit is about cricket ball size now and four female flowers are going to open tomorrow. I'm going to hand-pollinate them to save seeds for next year... :)
