Title: Sicily Clilli
Post by: Georgie on July 31, 2007, 21:19:40
After a rather dodgy start (grew like topsy but no flowers) I now have four fine chillies on my plant (seed courtesty of Biscombe) and hopefully many more to come.   ;D  G x

Oh Biscombe that's so funny.  Flowerlady is just up the road from me!  Talk about air miles.  :-[

My yellow chillies have already ripened and are in the freezer, Kitten.  I like the sound of your little red ones, which variety are you growing?

EMaggie I'll keep everything crossed for you.   ;D

Thanks.  Well if you like them it's very easy to save seed for next year.  Just put aside a few from a ripe fruit and keep them in a dark dry place 'til next year.   :)

But i think it's an f1, so didn't think we could save the seed?  Will have to check that out.  If we can, happy days :)

It's true that F1s won't come true but as the seed is free what harm is there in trying?  You might discover something even better.  :D
