Took them pics on Saturday at a Country Fair. I would rather see them in the Wild but I expect these have been bred in captivity.

Thanks for the pics Carol. I saw my first ever Barn owl in the wild a few weeks ago, near to Kings Lynn. Aren't Owls amazing creatures. :)

love these pics Carol, owls have always been a favourite of mine - called one of my homes in Essex 'Hoot Cottage' - but have a real soft spot for the Barn owl....somewhere I have a photo of myself with one on my gloved hand...no idea where it is tho!

they're such lovely birds â€" saw my first barn owl a couple of years ago at Mannington Hall in Norfolk.
they make much more sense when you see them flying: that blunt head scanning the ground like a big satellite dish!
