Cor they look lovely. The few I have grown have only produced lots of green no sign of anything least of all cobs ready for eating :) If they do come to anything it will be another first for me.

They are great Manics.  :)
I harvested some mini corn today - plants given to me by a friend. They were lovely - nutty and yum.
My sweetcorn though...sigh. Like Lorna - lots of green, no sign of cobs but I did plant much later than March/April coz of all the hassle over my first plot.

Mine is pretty much the same Emmy :(

I planted straight into the ground in March, but they don't seem to want to grow!  one or two have very small offshoots which I think will become the cobs, but if we don't get some sunshine and warmth up here soon then I think I'll just have to put the lot on the compost pile :(

Well done on yours tho' Manics!

I am SO jealous! Sweetcorn must be my absolute favourite. I thought my plants were doing quite well with quite a few cobs forming, but they are nowhere near yet
Well done
