Title: sleepers
Post by: ruud on July 27, 2007, 13:07:52
I grow now for some years different varities of toms from all over the world.but every time i have some toms who are looking healty. They only dont set fruits, not a sign of flowers.Tomatogrowers on my allotment call them sleepers, they all throw them on the compostheap.I just want to know why they seems to be healty looking, but only that important thing of setting  \fruits is missing.

Maybe those particular tomatoes are getting too much nitrogen, if they look lush and green but have no flowers? Seems strange though if others are growing in the same conditions but are ok. Don't think I've ever had that here.
