Here are some photographs taken by my son-in-law of the beautiful flowers and colours at the moment in our new gardens. There are quite a few, so apologies to anybody who isn't on broadband - but they are worth the wait ;D ;D

Lovely pics and sunshine too! Your 'new' garden seems to be coming on really well. Would be good to have more chance to enjoy it!
PS I love fuchsias - the big showey ones just seem so sort of impossible to me - how did all that flower get inside the bud?
Have spent the past three days drinking tea and eating biscuits in these very gardens and they're nothing less than BEAUTIFUL. The transformation in just three months is astonishing, hard work or what?! Having been a regular visitor to the house and garden they moved from, I know just how gorgeous these gardens are going to look this time next year!!
I especially enjoyed the tour of the greenhouse. The tomatoes looked fabulous ...... ;D ;D :P
Yep, spent many happy hours in the garden last week. The first thing that struck us when we pulled up were the lovely hanging baskets. To have transformed the garden in such a short time is just great. SavageBlue, when we were in the greenhouse there were 2 toms just ready, Lish and I were debating if we might have one each :) but we decided we just couldn't do that to our hostess!! I have a note of 3 plants that I really liked, and really loved the colour of the "bunny rabbits"
Thanks for great photos Mary.
Lorna.
Looks amazing :)
What is the bush/tree with the purple flowers behind the iron bench?
Rosebud that was beautiful thank you for sharing :)
Lorna, I heard the tale of the tomatoes, LOL. I also heard there was much laughter going on that week ;D When we got there yesterday, Rosebud was all disappointed as one of the tomato plants had bent right over and the tomatoes had come off or something (I was too interested in the tea and jaffa cakes at this point) It's a very nice, quiet place to sit, isn't it?
Hi Barnowl, that plant is called LAVATARIA, not sure if thats how you spell it.
Thank you for the nice comments we shall gradually get it right by next year, with lots of hard work then we shall move ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.!!!!!!!!!
Thanks very much Rosebud.
PS. Done a quick search and I think the spelling is Lavatera.
yes your right Barnowl, it also grown in blue i saw one a couple of days ago looks very nice Barnowl.
Years ago I had a selection of these.....there's a dark wine coloured one and the white's just lovely..
What a great garden you have. Wish I had a big garden like that. Well done.
And it grows like mad. Lovely garden, it must be fantastic relaxing in it - if you ever get a moment :) :) :) Thanks for sharing :)
Hi Shirl, it is a big garden to big for us we may yet move, the front garden is as big & and there are 2 side gardens + a vegetable garden, all great if we were 10yrs younger and fit . We are getting on with it though, my husband has been working very hard today on both big gardens, i would be sad to move but we cannot spend our lives just doing the garden, if you know what i mean Shirl/
Glorious Rosebud. I Love the crocosmias, one of my faves at this time of year. Dead jealous of the day lilly. Mines looking a bit sickly at the moment.
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Rosebud!
You are going to enjoy yourself there! ;D
How lovely!! thanks Rosebud :)
Just had a 'stroll' through your lovely garden Rosebud. Absolutely beautiful :)
Delightful, esp the agapanthus and the baskets... is that Fuchsia really that dark in the centre? or is it a trick of the light?

Hi Saddad, Rosebud has bronchitis at the moment so I thought I'd pop in and answer your question. That fuchsia is indeed really that dark in the centre and doesn't get its colour from any kind of trickery or modification. Lovely isn't it? I'll let Rosebud know about all of the extra nice comments she's missed once she's well again :)
Please give Rosebud our love and wish her a speedy recovery :-*
Hello Peeps, thank you so much for your nice comments. It has been very hard work but we are getting there, slowly.
I feel a lot better now it has been a horrible 2 wks, but today is my best day. Lovely bouquet from our son, and i have watered some plants so i must be getting better ;D. Saddad, that Fuschia is so beautifull it is unbelievable i like it so much, if i can do a cutting later would you like one?. Rosebud. ;D
Mary, do you have the name of that fuchsia? Glad to hear you are feeling a little better, take care.
Love Lorna.
Lorna, that fuschia is called ROSSE BLACKIE, i shall try and do a cutting for you , no promises mind but i shall do my best. love Mary. ;D
Thanks Mary. I have made a note in my little book, will have a google and see what I come up with.
Absolutely smashing garden Mary. ;D H x
Lorna, i think that is the right spelling, if it is not check on the T & M website because they have it ok. love Mary.
Cheers Mary, have just popped in for a tea break, I am bushed. Done all sorts in the garden today, making the most of the sunshine. Lorna is cooking the evening meal (thank goodness) Thought I had better get my butt inaction as I am out all day tomorrow. Going to have another hour out there and then call it a day.
Love Lorna,
Wow it looks gorgeous Rosebud. Can I just ask, in the 6th pic, you've got some orange flowers on what looks like very broad blades of grass, I have them in my garden but no idea what they're called? Mine aren't in flower yet tho :(
Hi Posie, they are called MONTBRETIA, THEY ARE VERY COLOURFULL BUT THEY SHOULD BE IN FLOWER NOW OR VERY VERY SOON, Oppppppps sorry uppercase. cheers Rosebud.
Thanks Rosebud. They normally flower about now, they're the only thing that will grow in that bit of garden!
