Where they're selling fully grown, and fully blighted, tomato plants at £4.99 each! :o
Naturally, I didn't get close enough to check the variety (mine are blight-free so far).
And plastic 7.5 litre watering cans at £24.99...
Bl***y rip off merchants they are...grumble......mutter..etc......>:(
I was at my local Wyevale last Saturday, and I have to say that the quality of their plants was rubbish.
loads had outgrown their pots and looked really shabby with weeds growing in their pots, were in desperate need of a drink and a bit of pruning and general attention :(
the indoors section, however, was fully stocked with scented candles and ornaments ::)
mind you, most 'garden centres' are the same these days. I guess if you want quality plants you really need to go to a nursery...
can't believe they were selling blighted toms though, that really takes the biscuit!!!
Tell you what, I'll go back and take a pic tomorrow...should be good publicity for them. 8)
