Title: wasps on my sunflower??

hi
i have 3 sunflowers planted on my plot, i have now noticed that on the bottom of the stalk i have wasps, only on one though. i grew sunflowers as a child and did not have this happen, can anyone tell me why and suggest a safe way to rid them with out furtehr damage to the plant if possible?

Hi Blue eyes,  welcome to the forum,

You could always buy a can of wasp nest killer from B&Q / Woolies etc and give them a good blast, but I don't know what that would do for the flower  :-\
