Yes please Rosie - hopefully they are blight resistant! I've just lost all my outdoor varieties to blight as have many other folk in the UK growing toms this year, due to the wet and weird 'summer' we've all had.

Have pm'd you my address again in case you've deleted it from your files.

Poor you  :-[ well if it's any consolation they didn't get blossom end rot!

I hope they work out ok, keen to get this tomato saving trick right! I left the seeds to ferment then rinsed them and started drying them today, they ponged a bit so I'm soaking them overnight and will rinse again tomorrow and dry, Don't worry I'm still harvesting so If this batch doesn't work out I'll try again................ a first time tomato seed saver here!!

I've never done more than lay the seeds out on kitchen paper to dry direct from the fruit, whether it be tomato, pepper, chilli, aubergine or squash and have always got good results.

OK all packed up and ready to post on monday, I've put about 20 or so seeds in each packet. Anyone else interested in some ofthese seeds you have until sunday night......

BTW heres a copy and paste from http://www.seeds-by-size.co.uk site

Striped Stuffer      5 seeds cost  £2.00  10 seeds cost  £4.00  25 seeds cost £7.00
Fruits are shaped like bell peppers & completely hollow. 5 to 7 oz. red fruits have
                     golden-orange stripes. A good yielder.

I'm in the wrong game!! how can they charge that amount of money! these toms are full of seeds, and really easy to save (I was worrying too much as usual!!)

As of today I have two Brandywine plants, one in GH one on patio which have about 7 fruit between them (most of the flowers just went brown and fell off). One Roma and one San Marzano 2, also in GH and not bearing as many fruit as in a normal year.

The only tomato I still have from you is the Rio Grande bush which I have in a tub on the patio. It has some fruit on it, but they are taking forever to ripen and there aren't that many anyway.

All in all, a very sad year for tomatoes  :(. There are a couple of tiny aubergines  and quite a few flowers on the three plants in the GH so I'm still hoping for something to harvest there. Sweet peppers - I have Gypsy fruiting well as is a Jumbo and a Californian Wonder. The Padron from you have flowers but as yet no fruit.

Thank you very much for the seeds, came today, Im'e like a big kid, can't wait to plant 4 seeds today! you must let me know what seed you want sent from Thailand when I go in Feb, have tried growing the yard long bean in uk but too cold here, maybe you would like to try?

Thank you Rosie  :-*, Striped Stuffer just arrived. Delay probably due to our on-going Postal strike, though I suppose 4 days from Spain isn't too bad for our postal system. The Dutch obviously do things better - Ruud got his seeds in 2 days!

Let me know if there is anything you want from the UK.
