Hello springs
Seems odd to be corresponding on an international site with a fellow allotmenter who's just up the road! I take it your on the main Southam site on the Welsh Road - can you give me clue to where your allotment is there? You're on my cycling route to the library so I like to nose over the fence as I go past.
Hi PG
Has you come up out of Southam we are at the first gate.
First plot by the car park. We have just won the allotment cup for best plot. If the gate is unlocked come in and have a look around, We are there most Thursdays plot no 20. Hope to see you one day, by the way we have a member from Napton.

hi, im in studley warwickshire
In Worcestershire and needing a loo
Apparently we've got loos but they're owned by the builders who are erecting a housing estate which has thrown up land for community use. Fortunately, allotments count as 'community use'.
I'm in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, and I've just taken over a plot on a brand new allotment. If there are any potters here who are short of clay, just pop round - I'll happily trade for a bag of compost :) .

Our location is similarly confused. Are we South of England, East Anglia or East Midlands? We are in Northamptonshire, semi-rural outskirts of Rushden, very close to the Bedfordshire border, on top of a ridge. I believe my son calculated (how?? can't remember now) that we are half a kilometre south of East Midlands, in which case this post is OT ::)
I have finally got a lottie in Derby. ;D
However, I used to have 2 in Worcestershire, until I moved
West Midlands - Donnington, Telford.......................................Solid Clay Soil :-[
I'm afraid I'm limited to a relatively small raised twin-plot in my back garden here in Sligo (in Ireland's northwest). We all have to begin somewhere, don't we? ;)

My plot is pretty much right in the centre of the field. It slopes from the right to the left and down towards the canal slightly so it is a good view from more or less every plot.
