Oh Jeanine, I'm so thrilled,

My eldest son, thirty something, has been on at me for a very long time to move down to Eastbourne where he and Anna live.

Tonight they phoned and said "you will have to move down here now , we need a babysitter".

I am over the moon., this is my first grandchild.

Mind you, my youngest is still at university, not in any rush there. :)

I am so happy for you, it is very exciting, my youngest son is waiting for his first one too and he is nearly 40.

Get the needles out, I have tons of patterns if you need them and don't forget to share the scans of the bump.

God Bless. XX Jeannine

It's early days

Anna got confirmation from the doctors today and goes for her first scan in two weeks time.  They will then give her a 'delivery date' and be able to determine the sex of their baby.

DELIVERY DATE, it's not a washing machine, it's my first grandchild.  ;D ;D ;D

Fingers crossed and prayers please, it is early days but I just had to tell.

ther is nothing in the world like being a gran ;D my eldest is 15 and has just done work experience at woolies who heaped praise on her and said she could have a saturday job when she is 16. they didn,t want to have her in the begining as they have so much trouble with todays kids so being a proud granny just goes on and on
