I'm so thrilled - they are about the size of kiwi fruits at the moment. Variety is Temptation.

I am growing three different varieties, have 10 plants and am still melonless.... :'( :'(
Well done mc55, I know the feeling as I grew melons for the first time last year and got so excited when I saw the first one starting to develop. Doubt I'll get any this year as the rain destroyed my plastic greenhouse so I've had to plant them all outdoors and I don't think the weather is helping! Are you growing yours outdoors or indoors?
Sp x
they are actually outside, but in a brick coldframe type structure. I've used some old flourescent light fittings to rest a piece of perspex and old windows over the plants but the rest is open to the elements.
iimmmpressive ! ;D ;D
Well done they will taste [& smell] amazing - I'm the same as Deb P, lots of plants, masses of leaves & flowers but no melons - yet.
Waaaaay! Check out those melons! ;D ;D
looking goooood!!! will have to try melons next year i think! well done!!!
Well done! They look great, I grew some a couple of years ago and used tights to act as a sling, don't let them get too big and eat them when they are warm ~ you'll remember the scent and flavour all through the winter!
