I rooted around for a few spuds to have for supper and it seems my kestrel have only produced 3 or 4 spuds per plant. A disaster? Maybe, but not when the spuds I am digging weigh over a pound each, and the one on the right weighed 1Ib 5oz. Will feed us all!
