Soooooooooo jealous, just been up to mine to pick, and all I came back with was a bunch of Sweet Peas!!!
Everything is looking decidedly umpty on my plot :( I am usually picking loads by now.
Well done you! ;D
Emma dear - please stop glutting? Adds too much pressure this end!
But I suppose it keeps your idle little fingers busy??
Not a bean in sight here yet.
Give my soul for those Redcurrants!
Oooh, summer pudding? :) :)
E.J what the h....ll are you doing with your veggies,i think you speak with them or do you sing.
Tim, those redcurrants are only from the un-netted bush that I let the birdies eat. They looked so jewel like I had to pick some. The bushes are weighed down with fruit this year.
The beans are amazingly abundant, and I love giving my friend and neighbour fresh veg as she only buys tinned or frozen so I have to give her cooking instructions. She has had courgettes and has made ratatouille, now french beans which she will be serving with roast chook.
Ruud, I whisper sweet nothings to them as I weed around. They seem to come on in leaps and bounds! ;)
It's all that good Essex soil - I have the same 'problem' as EJ - will be making courgette cake at the weekend if I can find the recipe! And it's green beans and courgettes [again!!!] with supper tonight.
Wow your fruit looks amazing! And those beans too, we've not got a single bean here yet either... ::)
