Title: ID needed
Post by: sweet-pea on July 16, 2007, 15:50:36
Does anyone know what this plant is. Mum bought it in the sell off at Chelsea but forgot to ask what it was.  It has aromatic foliage and has been in flower since Chelsea.  Reminds me of lavender but the leaves look different.

Many thanks

Arrrrrrgh, I know this one, I've grown it a few times and it is a type of lavender, but I know it's not hardy.......the frost cuts it down straightaway, and I had no luck with cuttings either. :-\

Got it....lavender christiana!

Thanks Deb P, that looks exactly like what mum has.  I never knew there were so many types of lavender, I've only ever seen the bog standart types with the thin leaves.  Shall pass the info on to mum.
