it was a keeper from last year. Here we are in mid July and I am still eating last years,I now have just three left!!
Does anyone else have anything in store from last year, it might be worth a bob or two now!!
XX Jeannine
One huge musquade de provence sitting on top of the fridge.
I've still got a dozen or so shallots left from last year - still nice & juicy :)
two butternuts looking decidedly sorry for themselves - one huge and one normal sized (although enormous compared to the ones in the shops currently). The seem to get sweeter and stronger tasting as they get older.
Several squashes still sitting in the conservatory, still nice and heavy and firm. Will take a pick axe to get through them! PLenty of preserves from last year. And I still have some garlics left in the kitchen from last years successful harvest.
Onions, grew about 200 last year, just finishing the last bag (contents 14 ish)
We ate our last Crown Prince about a week ago!
:'(
3 winter festival squashes, 2 red onions, some bags of frozen courgettes( :( -we are already eating and freezing this years!) and plum jam. The plums are just about ready so I shall be making more jam this week too! ;)
Amongst other things from the freezer we still have tomato passata, just as well as it looks light we have blight :-[
Sand
nowt fresh from last year but loads of stewed apple, plums, pears, rhubarb and gooseberries, we can't eat puddings quickly enough, shame :( ;D ;D
Yes, I still have 4 Winter Festival squashes, nice and firm, shallots and elephant garlic.
