;D
Sorry, just exceited that my peas are growing so well.
Only just noticed two small pods this morning while opening the greenhouse for the day.
I'll take some photos later, at work just now :( :(
They looks really good btw!! ;D ;D ;D
yay!!!
looking forward to photos!
my baby peas are still in their rootrainers, about 6-8" tall and ready to go out (as soon as the bed's dug ::))
peas fresh from the pod is just the best taste.
enjoy!!!
glad its not just me who have late growing peas, they are slightly shaded during the day but are growing happily and are fending off the slugs regularly!
have been putting the few that have grown straight in the freezer for hopefully a fresh taste!

I brought up about half a carrier bag of pea pods yesterday for the OH i asked for some and she give me 1.
We have loads to pick this weekend and another sowing to put in...
Purple podded, yellow Mangetout, Magnum Bonum, Tall Telegraph and others...
;D
mine have finished, thought I might sow some more tomorrow and see what happens.
Oooo lucky you - mine have finished too!
You can still grow them. July is the latest.
Raining now so pics will have to wait but i have around 6 pods! ;)
well done Chris!
mine didn't seem to want to grow for ages and were stuck at 8" in the ground, but with the help of a little bit of rain (understatement!) and some chicken pellets they're really shooting upwards! Have got some flowers on them now so should be seeing peas very soon!
I'll probably sow some more today ;)
Bought several packs at Bogof prices today for that very reason...
;D
As promised, here are some pictures.
These are "Greensage" only grow to around 30 inches in height.
