Title: Potato probs
Post by: tim on June 12, 2004, 16:58:46
Phil - or any other kind expert - this was dicsussed on the beeb board, I think, a year ago. Someone said it was bruising, but I can't see that. I had a whole sack like it last year from the farmers' market. I mean the blotchy bits rather than the scabby ones.

Trouble is, you can't see it till you peel it. So baking....? = Tim

Tim this would require a `rant` -too much artificial feed, too much water(to bulk up)and lousy harvesting to begin with.

And to think that when I picked spuds as a schoolboy - woe betide anyone that put a `scab` in one`s sack

Stephan.

At least they apologised! But it makes you wonder what you're eating sometimes. = Tim
