Is it the one about Hull  and the newspaper report, that is going around. I have it but was holding off for the same reason as your question, I thought it may be a bit soon for that one.  the one that quotes in it about 15 year old mother of 5,I wouldn't be offended, I thought it was a scream if that is the one you have.

No I missed that jeannine, my funnies are actual people being daft, I have heard all the jokes about the floods doing £5 million pounds worth of improvements ect.

I have quite a few funny stories, most people will not find them funny but I think those who have been affected will.

First one

"Is that the Emergency Plumber"
"yes"
"I have a leak"
"where"
"The rain is coming through my window"
"Sorry but it's not a plumber you need"

At 6.30 am I was not to happy.

And I have many more, would also love to hear other peoples.

Bring em on!  Just lookinga t my herbs and lettuce plants i was growing for the market stall next week and they have had it - between the greenhouse falling in on them and the 3" of rain we had last night they are well and truly battered - could do with a laugh!

The Council were delivering sand bags to flood victims as they try to save their houses.

Council worker "where is your husband love"
Poor lady carring sand bags to protect her house "In the back garden catching his fish"

A Plumber gets a call (not me this time)

"our boiler is not working"
Turns up and finds the boiler house 3 feet deep in water, he is then asked
"so why is it not working then?"
