Title: The beauty of home grown.
Post by: Stevens706 on July 04, 2007, 12:17:37
Last Sunday Dinner we had from the allotment Cabbage, Calabrese, Carrots, Courgettes and new potatoes. My 9 year old daughter asked for more carrots as they were “so tasty” so I had to give her some from my plate, and my 6 year old daughter ate her cabbage first. They both cleaned their plates, where normally we have a struggle getting them to eat veg.

This just shows why we grow our own.

Number one son will only eat the peas he picks and shucks, so I am trying to prolong my pea growing season!
