Title: Squash question for Jeannine
Post by: dandelion on July 02, 2007, 19:31:13
...or anyone else who has grown Red Kuri.

One of my plants is growing very vigorously up the squash  wigwam I built and has already developed 7 small fruit. Will it be able to support that many pumpkins at once or should I remove some  ??? ?

No, don't remove them, the stem will  automatically grow stronger when growing vertically than it would on the ground,  just be prepared to ' sling' the fruit as they get heavier in tights if you are worried. Well done for such a good plant  XX Jeannine
