Hi all,
I have been lurking on the forum for a few months now. We got our first allotments on the 21st of March this year, and I rotovated it (against the given wisdom of the forum) on the 26th. We have since filled it with loads of stuff. We have been eating the cut and come again lettuces since early June as well as red and white radishes.
Today we have lifted our first row of rocket spuds, getting nearly 15 pounds out of 9 plants. We have also gathered white radish, more lettuce, land cress, the first baby carrot, spring onions, chives, beetroot, mange tout and my first atrichoke. See the picture below.

It has been a fairly hard learning curve to get things going as well as a load of hard work digging. I have to say, though that the advice on the forum has been excellent, thanks to you all. I look forward to posting more piccies as we get more and more crops through.
Thanks all,
Chris
