I've put this in the non-edible section as I don't want to tempt fate, but I'm hoping to have fruit!
Pic 1 is the flower in bud.
Pic 2 is the newly opened flower - taken from below, as it's hanging vertically.
is this indoors or out, we have four of these plants, vigorous growth, no flowers, I'm green with envy, they're lovely :)
This is outdoors, Manics,in black Morrisons buckets (hurrah!) placed just under a hawthorn hedge, which is against some railings which...
... oh heck - here's a photo from the outside of the garden railing - you can just spot the bloom to the left of the junction box.
good grief, there is some hope for ours then ;D
No probs, manics - if not this year then deffo next. They do say you shouldn't give Passiflora too much nourishment as it grows loads of foliage instead of concentrating on producing fruit.
Like most things in my garden that were planted under the illusion of being tropical/ exotic/ delicate, mine's now a THUG. The seeds were planted indoors but three of the babies were put outside to take their chances and just took off, as you can see from the pic!
;D
