Hey OO, sounds like you're making the place your own and i'm so pleased for you honey  ;D

I've just read a Mike Gayle while on holiday called Brand New Friend, it's only a girly page flicker and similar in style to his others (My Legendary Girlfriend, Mr Commitment) but worth a read.

Anyhow, have a nice night in your new room, sleep tight x  :-*

Don't know any of the books so can't help with that OO but your room sounds wonderful - your own space  :).  Sleep well.

Don't know the books either, OO. Just started 'The Lady and the Unicorn' by Tracy Chevalier (her of Girl With a Pearl Earing fame) it's definately promising.
Whatever you choose to read, enjoy your sumptuous sounding bed! Spread out any way you wish and snore as loud as you like-even make crumbs ;D.
Night night, sweet dreams. ;)

Aggghhhh woke up to a nightmare... picture white crisp sheets, pink shabby chic Cath Kidston/Laura Ashley style quilt cover, Then picture the white floral throw over.... then picture MY DOG ON HEAT!

Aghhhh gotta wash the lot.

And to top it off my nose has swollen width ways... I forgot I'm allergic to feathers and the cushions are feather and I didnt take them off the bed...

Was a comfey snooze though - read chapter 2 of the inheritance of loss by Kiran Desai - she won the Man Booker this year with her first novel, she's also Anita Desai's daughter.

Up early to clean out the car, the rain seems to have washed it, its piddling down here, wont be vacummning it though - oh well.

Poor you OO. Yes my 2 dogs seem to think they can sleep on my bed when I'm not looking. I try to discourage it but it still happens. And if they aren't in season their paws are muddy and in any case they leave doghair everywhere. :'(

I can relate to the muddy paws too Grawc... I must remember to take Wingtze's bed up tonight... she even has her own 'shabby chic' bed that lives inthe front room. but im afraid she will have to sleep on it tonight.

Off to bed again in a minute for sleep - buying cars is exhausting!!

YAY the dog slept on her bed!

I got a 5 door Grand Vitara, turbo diesel with nudge bump, central locking and woodgrain dash - late 2000 model. I'm well chuffed. Its silver and looks great... complete luxury compared to the N reg Clio I had with 3 doors, no central locking, blowey exhaust and bad brakes!
