Title: Greenhouse cukes
Post by: RobinOfTheHood on June 26, 2007, 16:55:10
Has anyone suffered from this problem before?

I potted on a Burpless Tasty Green about 3 weeks ago (yes I know it should go outside, but I find they grow better under cover), and this morning I realised it had metamorphosised into a butternut squash!   ::)

Any ideas on how I may revert it to it's original state?  ???

No, but if you find out can you tell me how to get my Hybrid Sunsweet round yellow cukes to stop growing 6  inches long and WHITE.

I bet it's the labels that got swapped. You don't have an enthusiastic small child as one of your Assistant Gardeners, do you?

Not in my case, the labels were definately not switched,I have a  sticky on the pot too just in case. The only one I got wrong was when I didn't label a whole tray, but in that case no labelsand they were not cukes. Mine was a new packet of seeds. I grow 4 different cukes, and the other 3 are right.XX Jeannine
