Title: first crop of veg

hi on sunday we had are first crop from the allotment we had Collie cabbeg turnip the only thing we had to bye was carrots it was lovely straight from the soil to the plate the only thing wrong was the carrots witch we bought they had no taste but mine was spanking lovely mmmmmmm lol

We had a gammon steak, with our first picking of broad beans, home grown new potatoes and parsley sauce.  I think, because of my impatience the broad beans were perhaps a bit small, but the taste was fantastic!!

I just wish the rain would stop, and we could have a bit more sunshine to ripen the tomatoes.

yes it is nice but with all this rain in yorksher a lot of the veg is starting to rot wat a waste
