Title: Brown Turkey Fig
Post by: arphamoe on June 25, 2007, 16:23:31
We've got a Brown Turkey fig growing in a large pot - had it for several years and had good fruit from it. Just noticed that, from having several dozen small fruits a month or so ago to now only having four plum-sized fruits! Lots of wildlife in the garden, and wondering whether there is a problem with the growing or the wildlife?
The foliage is strong and growing, and this year there's no watering problems. Any views? ??? ???

:) it's worked the other way round for me ::)

lots of small fruit at beginning of the year, they fell off bar for two which are massive,

then we had the cold spell and its made my plant produce lots of small figs,

I do believe its the odd weather we are having / shades x

Most of our first year fruit fell off, leaving only a few miserable grape-sized things.
