Never too soon for xmas - the card business i do is releasing the xmas collection in July - apparently they sell out by October so will have to get ready for the xmas rush.
I can't remember if i have planted Brussels to be honest an all the labels are covered in straw so will have to dig around.

Well, Happy Christmas to all of you if I forget nearer the time!
Pleased to say my sprouts, red and green, are in and growing well and finally I have a good row of parsnips germinated. We are hosting Christmas day this year, never have before, so gotta make sure the veggies are sorted!
Oh hush now, we have had the turkey in for some time now, and the sprouts are just coming up to the boil.
XX Jeannine
You only just starting them Jeannine ??? Will they be done in time ???
:D
your all being mean!! I would happly sit down to a plate of sprouts!!
You can share ours anytime , we have enough water here to boil enough to cook sprouts for all of England.XX Jeannine
Sprouts: truly the coffee-cream of the veg world.
(un)Luckily I love both so end up finishing everyone else's at Chrimblemoose.
BUT I'M STILL WAITING FOR SUMMER! Did I blink and miss it? Oh b*gger, well, on with making the Christmas fairies then. How long a simmer is required for the perfect sprout please? Don't know if I can bear the pong for many months though.
And all the pressies are wrapped ;D ;D ;D
I made most of my Christams cards back in January, just got the close family to do - also bought about half my Mum's stockings and my Ma-in-law's !
Shall probably forget something major as I;m so far ahead this year! ;D
I think you may meet yourself coming backwards Prink ;D
I'm still digesting last Xmas' dinner, boy, it was a big one, but no enough home grown sprouts.
i have 20 sprout plants in the ground.
yuummmmm
