Down in Sussex tonight with big jumper on too.......
In Sunny (!!!) Hampshire - just for an hour this evening. I've got my winter woolly socks on!
Might go in the garage for the thermals!
We had the heating off for most of March and April, but it's been back on most of May and June. I even a lit a fire a couple of weeks ago.
Ours went on today!!
Might be on soon- it's chilly here and it may be the only way of drying the washing!
Would do but we have run out of oil !! No mains gas where we live so i think i will order some oil pretty quick !!!
I tried putting on a cardie but it still felt chill so the heating went on for a couple of hours last night. Today the temperature outside is just 12C and the heating has been on since 10:30am. It's miserable enough with all this rain without feeling cold indoors :).
Tricia
yup, heating on as had spent all day out (in the rain) and needed warming up.
We had the heating on in the afternoon then the temp went up and the heating went up and the windows are open.
Husband has loads of mossie bites from wednesday and got more last night, one patch now looks infected so hes off to the doc soon.
yup we put it on last night for a hour this is still a luxury as we converted to gas from solid fuel last year one of the best things we,v done after buying the house for £3.5 grand in 71 ;D

No heating on here in Hull, actually it is not cold in the house,I still have windows open and my fans on upstairs, but I hate the heat.
Hi J
Do you have power? Water?
Cambourne7
Hot here in Essex, even in the rain! Windows are all still open. One radiator is on purely to dry some washing and the one in the bathroom stays on year round so the kids have cosy towels when they get out of the bath.
Have not had it on in Notts yet but came close tonight, wind and rain started at 1500 and still going strong. :(
Had to put the heating on last night to get all the washing dry. Managed to get some dry on the line today, despite the occasional heavy showers - its weird weather. At least we aren't having to paddle round the house as some poor people are.
Yep it's on in North Staffordshire. Even the dog has a miserable face as she's not been far today. Free lavender plants arrived today from Gardeners World, don't think they'd take too kindly to being plonked in the garden just yet.

Being a southern softie, I haven't turned it off since last September.. Sooo embarrassing...
Refuse to light the fire here, I only cleaned it out a few weeks ago - a job I hate - and I'm not doing it again 'til next year, so thank goodness it's not too cold here
KAthi
I put it on last night here in Wales. It was purely to dry the washing though. Nothing to do with me being a softy ;)
cj :)
:)
we lit the fire today(it's our only form of heating)
need to dry the house out
we've had a few leaks with the rain ::)/ shades x
yup, had the fire on for the last three evenings. We're burning next winters stash of logs so we'll have to start looking about for fallen trees to re-fill the woodstore just in case.
Well I've never actually turned mine off!......have modern n.s.heaters and they're on a low setting......bedroom and hallway one have come on last couple of early mornings (for which I'm grateful)
Temp outside dropped to 8 °c last night and there forcasting 3 °c tonight :-(
There forcasting friday and being a really really really bad day here and the temp staying down till saturday 7 °c !
???
I still think its November!
Might have to tonight, just got back from the lottie after being alternately soaked and baked....... :-\
Monday evening went to cricket match and the sun was gorgeous, yesterday played with 2 year old in the garden and I went and put a coat on and I don't do coats normally. Today after no rain for two days was looking OK, put washing on and as it finished the rain came down, just before Wimbledon got theirs, not as cold as the last few days but still windy. :( :'( ;D ;D ;D
Just given in and put ours on before the kids have their bath. ::)
Temperature has definetly dropped down here in Devon but still haven't arranged another delivery of oil so will have to go to bed early !! The amazing thing is we moved a year ago because they are building a huge gas fired power station just up the road where we used to live but we still don't have mains gas. Perhaps i could suggest they fit it for free due to all the disruption they are causing ???
Looks like all cricket matches will be off this weekend coming - both hub and son in the house for a whole weekend in the summer - time to get out the the paint pots ;D
6 degrees forecast tonight, according to the oracles so which silly ninny put all her winter clothes in the garage in May? ::)
Had it on for half-an-hour this evening, just to warm through. I'm beginning to regret changing to my summer duvet in April!
Oh no heating here, I hate the heat, still got bedroom windows open , 2 fans on in there and just a very thin quilt just over my legs only at night, and I am comfortable as it is just right now.
Each night I come in from work OH has turned it up to 20 degrees. I turn it right down again onto 12 degrees. Dont think she even notices as outside temperatures are still warm me thinks.....
Our boiler is in the garage - so wouldn't notice if hubby turned it down! Just that little light shining leads me into a false sense of security ;)
No heating on here - daughter just back from Glastonbury with stacks of really muddy washing which has to go through the machine at least twice & nowhere to dry it. :)
