;D
Been raining most of the weekend but that didn't stop me getting some more photos.
These are Estima and we got loads from a large bucket with four seed potatoes.

I still cant believe how well the carrots have grown in the free black buckets. Next year I wont be growing carrots on the plot. Just sown yellow, red and purple ones for a change.
A couple more pics here - http://backyard.8m.net/garden%20veg/june2007.html
Great pics - the carrots especially
Thanks for the tip
Will try that
Looking good Chris, Carrots look just like mine except cleaner, have you jet washed them or put them through the washing machine. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Those carrots look amazing!
Put them in the dishwasher, they'll cook and clean themselves at the same time ;D ;D
Seriously, I've tried carrots in one of those sainsburys shopping baskets (the solid plastic ones that fitted on the trolley) and nothing came up. What compost do you use in the bucket?
how are your carrots so big so early ??? Mine are still little finger sized.
I just used multipurpose compost, you know 4 x £10 (80ltr bags)
Started these back in April
Great harvest Chris... hope my bucket potatoes have done as well...
;D
I never found any of those buckets ..... :'( Yes ,those carrots look very tasty . Rohaise
