And Here it is now

And here is the 1st little Pumpkin
It's beautiful! A growing pumpkin on a pedestal, it looks really nice.
Mine are about 50 cm long. But they are growing in a four sister bed. Due to a lack of space, I had to plant my corn and pumpkins in my strawberry patch. Considering the stunted growth of the pumpkins I will plant beans only on the outside of the bed.
The corn btw is doing fine.
Hi Tuinman
That is just incredible, mine was planted about the same time in my compost heap and is nothing like the size of yours. What are you feeding it with, this is the first time I’ve grown a pumpkin so any tips you can provide would be useful.
I don't feed it, the compost heap does that.
wow, it looks great - what is the variety ?
How old is the ompost? If it was still generating heat that would accelerate things.
Wow, that's impressive! 8) Mine are still tiny although they were planted out about the same time as yours. I have lots of slugs eating plants at the allotment and have lost 5 plants so far... :(
Looking good Tuinman, mine are still in pots, I know I should get them over the lottie but with the weather or transport or lazyness or slug scared I just haven't,the first big yellow flower popped up today. ;D ;D ;D
What an amazing amount of growth! I have grown squashes in my compost heap in the past and have always ended up with trifids!
